A year after Dylan's entry, Cohen photographed him on this rooftop on third Ave. The same rooftop where he had earlier shop the traditional kentucky singer Rosoe Holcomb and where Robert Frank had photographed Cohen's band, the new lost city Ramblers. Paths were criss-crossing. The stories of Greenwich Village, Washington square, traditional songs, protest songs, artist commuters, emotionally intense performances with honchos of folk songs.
